Dr. Saurodip Maity is a paediatrician and paediatric intensivist practising in and around Kolkata. He currently serves at Manipal Hospital (Dhakuria), Healthcare Clinic (Baguiati) and LN Polyclinic & Diagnostics (Hatiara), where he provides advanced critical care support for infants, children and adolescents facing medical, surgical and cardiac emergencies.
With robust training in India and the UK, and hands-on experience in some of the most demanding paediatric intensive care environments, he offers specialised, multidisciplinary and high-dependency critical care for children who need it most.
Dr. Maity is known for his calm decision-making, rapid clinical response in high-pressure situations, and an empathetic approach that reassures parents during their most difficult moments. His academic journey began at Medical College, Kolkata — the oldest medical college in Asia — where he completed his MBBS. He then pursued DNB Paediatrics at the P. D. Hinduja National Hospital in Mumbai, one of India's leading centres for paediatric training.
His dedication to paediatric critical care led him to secure the Indian Diploma in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine (IDPCCM), followed by a specialised Fellowship in Paediatric Intensive Care in London, UK. This deeply enriched his expertise in handling complex PICU cases, advanced ventilation, cardiac critical care and emergency paediatric stabilisation, with globally aligned standards of practice.
